Registration and Payment Policies
Please read this document before signing your Registration form to indicate you have read this document and understood it.
Classes for the 2011-2012 dance seasons begin Sept 17th.
Registration may be submitted in person. A one time administrative fee of $10.00 is required at registration per family.
In order to secure a spot in a dance class, we must receive a completed and signed Registration Form. Registration days will be held at 5 Star Fitness In August and September. Payment can be made for the classes on these days. You will be notified either by email or phone which days will be assigned for registration and payments.

Payments for monthly fees will be accepted by 10 post dated cheques for the 1st of each month for the duration of the year .Payment will be processed between the 1st and the 10th of the month. A 25$ administrative charge will be applied to all NSF cheques returned by the bank.
For students who wish not to pay by post dated cheques you may pay by cash and we ask that payment be made In advance once every 3 months. Fees are due upon the 1st of the month and payments received later than the 7th of the month will be subject to the 10.00 late fee. No classes will be taken until payments are made

Refund Policy
If for any reason you wish not to continue dance classes we require 7 days notice prior to the first of the month to pull the cheque. Once they are processed fees are non-refundable.
Paying In full
When you pay in full you will receive a 10% discount
If for any reason you wish to discontinue classes, we need 7 days notice prior to the first of the month and you will be refunded in the amount of months that have not started (example:  If you take 2 classes in October and decide to discontinue after those 2 classes, refund will be issued from November -June)

NO refunds will be issued for missed classes due to the student’s absence or studio being closed for weather conditions (eg. Snow Storm or Ice Storms) Classes cancelled by the Studio will be made up under the direction of the teacher.
A $40.00 costume deposit for each class being taken will be required in January for recital costume(s).


Studio Policies
• Student are require to wear proper dance attire:
Ballet: black bodysuit, Pink ballet tights and ballet slippers. Hair is to be worn back out of face and tied in a bun .Jazz: Any color bodysuit or dance top and tights, Dance shorts or pants and jazz shoes. Hair is to be tied back. Acro: Any color bodysuit, dance pants/shorts, tights that don’t cover the feet. Feet are to be bare and hair is to be tied back. Hop-hip: Any comfortable pant and shirt appropriate to class. Running shoes are to be worn inside only (no street shoes) and should have a non-marking sole. Hair should be tied back.
• There is to be no food or drink besides water in the dance studio.
• When Waiting for the class to start students must wait in the changing area until 5 minutes before their class is to start. Then students may quietly enter the dance studio room and wait until it is their turn for class.
• Children 10 years of age or under who are not dancing should not be left unsupervised.
• Students are to be respectful of the changing area keeping it tidy. There is a dedicated section of lockers for the students to use while they are taking classes.
• Students must be respectful to staff and students at all times, swearing will not be tolerated.
• Please do not bring valuables to the Studio as we will NOT be responsible for lost or stolen items. There will be no heavy jewelry allowed in class.
• Please share your concerns, suggestions or complaints with the administrator (owner) and an appointment will be set up. Teachers are NOT to be interrupted during class time.
• Children 10 years of age or under who are not dancing should not be left unsupervised.
